Amazing experience

This lovely old fashioned pub/restaurant is a little gem. 5 of us visited for a birthday meal. It’s only small, but very welcoming. We were warmly greeted by the staff and then shown to our table. Good choice of dishes and when the food came we were not disappointed. Everyone of us enjoyed what we had and the service by the staff was exceptional. The food was very good value too. Highly recommended and well worth a visit. Well done everyone.

Most Amazing Sunday lunch

Had the most amazing Sunday lunch – every element was spot on. The celeriac, truffle, and hazelnut soup was the best I’ve ever had. The Quorn roast with all the trimmings, including veggie sausage and cauliflower cheese, was a game-changer for vegetarians. My picky daughter even loved the creamy mash and cheese pie! Beautifully presented food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. At £60 for three, including drinks, it felt like fantastic value for such an exceptional meal. We’ll definitely be back!
